<p>PURPOSE:To utilize a mounting space effectively even when a unit under option is not installed by setting up a box for housing detachably fitted to the mounting space of the unit under option. CONSTITUTION:A housing 2 capable of housing consumables such as a type wheel, a floppy disc cassette, or an ink ribbon cassette and a battery, printing paper, etc., is installed detachably to an upper case 1 under the state in which a unit under option such as an electronic typewriter is not mounted. An arm 4 is deflected inward and inserted into the recessed section 1a of the upper case 1 from an upper section in the housing 2, and a pawl 5 is engaged with an engaging hole 6 by elastic force. The sidewall 9 of a cover 3 is pushed open and the bearing hole of a bearing section 8 is fitted to a shaft 7, thus setting up the cover 3 to the box 2 in an opening-closing-able manner while using the shaft 7 as a fulcrum. When the box 2 is pulled up together with the cover 3, the box 2 can be removed. Accordingly, the space can be utilized effectively without waste.</p> |
