<p>PURPOSE:To preserve the operating state of a main body only with the processing of a hardware by stopping the feeding of an operation clock when a power switch is turned off while a preservation setting switch is turned on and stopping the power supply to the main body when the power switch is turned off while the preservation setting switch is turned off. CONSTITUTION:In a condition where a preservation setting switch 6 is turned off, a control signal to a DC/DC converter 5 is alternately turned on/off and connection/disconnection of the power supply to a main body is alternately repeated at every depression of a power switch 7. While the switch is turned on, a control signal to a gate circuit 10 is alternately turned on/off and feeding/ stopping of operation clocks are alternately repeated at every depression of the power switch 7. Therefore, the operating state of the main body can be preserved by processing hardware only without requiring any special controlling process for software executed on a device nor firmware incorporated in equipment.</p> |
