TRANSPARENT SOLID DETERGENT

PURPOSE:To impart good transparency, good usability, and good shelf life by using specified alkalies for neutralizing an N-(long-chain acyl) acidic amino acid in a transparent solid detergent containing N-(long-chin acyl) acidic amino acid salts. CONSTITUTION:This transparent solid detergent contains N-(long-chain acyl) acidic amino acid salts composed of an alkali metal salt and an ethanolamine salt in a molar ratio of (20:80) to (35:65). It is desirable that the N-(long-chain acyl) acidic amino acid salts contain 10-22C acyl groups and have a degree of neutralization of 1.5-1.8 equivalents. The incorporation of a cationic polymer and an ampholytic surface active agent into the detergent can improve the resistance to disintegration through dissolution, the solubility by rubbing, the foaming ability, etc.
