<p>Solid, uncured unsatd. polyester/unsatd. monomer compns. which can be milled to free flowing powders or granules, comprising (a) 20-35% of an Alpha',Beta-ethylenically unsatd. monomer and (b) 65-80% of an unsatd. polyester resin made from stoichiometric amts. of (1) a dihydric alcohol, of which at least 60 mol.% is 1,4-cyclohexane diol (I) and (2) a dicarboxylic acid, at least 25 mol.% of which is an ethylenically unsatd. dicarboxylic acid or anhydride. Unsatd. monomer (a) may be, e.g. styrene, Alpha-methyl styrene, vinyl toluene, diallyl phthalate, methylmethacrylate or mixts. thereof. The diol used besides the (I) may be, e.g., ethylene glycol, propylene glycol, diethylene glycol, neopentyl glycol, hydrogenated bisphenol A, etc.</p> |
