PURPOSE:To enable a game to be continued from the previous one by storing status information at the end of the game in an IC card to use the status information in the IC card when the game is later resumed. CONSTITUTION:Status information of a game is stored in an IC card 19 which is inserted in an inserting port 13 to enable the game to be continued from the previous one when the game is resumed. Memories in the card 19 are divided into a block 22 for control and a block 23 for application. In the block 23 are stored game status data 27 and money data 28. When the data 27 are stored, the game is started from a scene shown by the status information. The data 27 show a place, time, level, point on hand, item or the like on the proceeding game to be renewed as the game proceeds. Thus, the service to a customer of the game machine is improved. |
