ELECTRIC CONNECTING MEMBER AND MANUFACTURE THEREOF

PURPOSE:To make high density connection of a connecting member with any piece of electric circuit parts by forming bumper parts of each conductor of the named connecting member from a conductive material upon selection in accordance with the connection part of the piece to be joined. CONSTITUTION:A connecting member 1 consists of a plurality of conductors 2 made of conductive material and retainers 3 to insulate them electrically. The ends of each conductor 2 protrude at both sides of the corresponding retainer 3 to form bumper parts 2a, 2b. The bumper 2a uses Au as conductive material while the other bumper 2b uses Cu, and a column 2c embedded in each retainer 3 uses also Au. Use of different metals as conductive material to the two bumps, in this fashion, allows selection of conductive material for the bumps as desired in accordance with the connection part of applicable piece of electric circuit parts to be joined, and accomplishes high density and fine connection of an electric circuit.
