PURPOSE:To efficiently manufacture foamed material in continuous form as superior quality member by a method wherein some part of flame retardant cold foaming agent is poured in lower resin mold and, after that, its remainder is poured in the lower resin mold under the condition that the vertically split resin molds are transferred while being reinforced by metal molds and then joined with the upper resin mold through coating so as to complete foamed molding in order to take out formed body after the completion of the foamed molding. CONSTITUTION:In the apparatus concerned, resin molds 1a and 1b in continuous form or preferably in endless form, which are moved under the state being guided with rollers 4e and 4c, are employed. Since the upper resin molds 1a are shorter than the lower resin mold 1b, on one end side of the molds 1b, a moving locus extends from the upper resin molds 1a. On the extended part of the locus, raw material charging zone is formed by providing a primary and a secondary foaming agent tanks 3a and 3b so as to pour raw material on the extended lower resin molds 1b through the pouring ports 3a' and 3b' of the tanks 3a and 3b. In the upper and lower endless resin molds 1a and 1b, series of metal molds 2a and 2b are provided so as to pinchingly press foaming agents, which are continuously poured from the tanks 3a and 3b, with rollers 4c in order to mold the predetermined material in continuous form. Covered material in continuous form is obtained by pouring foaming agent under the condition that axial core material 5 is supported with press rolls 4a and the like. |
