The pressure-sensitive transfer medium of the parent specification is modified by using as liquid-absorbing filler, in place of woodflour, gelatin, polyvinyl alcohol or a cellulosic material other than woodflour, e.g. cotton, methylcellulose, hydroxyethylcellulose or hydroxymethylcellulose. Media in which the fillers are the non-absorbent diatomaceous earth and an organic derivative of montmorillonite are described by way of comparison.
