PURPOSE:To improve the electrification stability and to clarify an image by dispersing a monomer composition incorporating a polyester dispersant in a dispersion medium incorporating a prescribed electrostatic control agent, polymerizing it, and enhancing the dispersibility of the composition. CONSTITUTION:First a radically polymerized monomer, a coloring agent, a polyester dispersant (A), etc., are mixed and dispersed with a ball mill, etc. Then after the obtained mixture is dispersed in a dispersion medium incorporating an inorganic fine particles (example: fine powder silica) and a metallic salt of 3,5-ditertiary butyl salicylic acid (example: a Cr complex salt) and granulated, that mixture is reacted by raising the temp., treated with a silane coupling agent (example: gamma-anilinopropyl triethoxysilane). Consequently the produced particles are washed with water and dried to produce the toner. Also as the component A, polyhexamethylene adipate, etc., can be used. |
