<p>Apparatus for monitoring the radioactivity of a wide range of materials, esp. milk, with special reference to I-131, Sn-89, and Cs-137, in such a way that radioactive fall-out in the environment does not interfere has a lead castle surrounding the detector elements and sample chamber. The lead castle is divided into two parts, the upper of which carries a hollow pin surrounding the detector elements and fitting a central cavity in the lower part for the reception of the sample holder.</p> |
