PURPOSE:To correctly initialize a system and to prevent the occurrence of malfunction by temporarily waiting an interruption, resetting a CPU and executing a program from the initialized state of the system. CONSTITUTION:When a program runaway occurs, the program enters into an interruption 6 through a runaway route 5, and after executing interrupting processing 7, returns to initializing 2 through a jump route 8. A CPU is provided with a watchdog pulse oscillator A and a reset circuit B and a watchdog circuit is independently connected. The oscillator A set up in a main routine 4 outputs a watchdog pulse PW to the circuit WD only when the program is executed. When the pulse PW is not inputted, the circuit WD generates a reset signal SR to a reset circuit B after the lapse of a prescribed time and the circuit B restores the CPU to the initial state. Thus, proper control can be attained. |
