1327596 Releasable fastenings WILH FRANK GmbH 22 Dec 1970 [24 Dec 1969] 61001/70 Heading E2A In a fastening mechanism for windows or doors having at least one driven and longitudinally displaceable drag link 7 with at least two locking pins 11, 12 located mutually spaced thereon, coupling means 28 are provided for coupling an end of the drag link with a drag link extension member 27, the end of the member 27 remote from the drag link cooperating with a locking member 24 adapted to be mounted on the surface of an outer frame and the coupling between the drag link and the member 27 being adjustable in length. As shown, the link 7 is reciprocated by a gearing device 8 and the extension member 27 is provided with a group of holes 33 any one of which may be engaged by a pin 32 on the bridging member 28; the latter is connected to the link 7 by a pin and hole connection 30, 31. Alternatively, interconnection of the members is made by intermeshing rack teeth provided on the members. The extension 27 is slidable in a guide sleeve 40 on a cover rail 9 and is engageable with the member 24. The pins 11, 12 and 13 on the link 7 engage in L- shaped slots in plates mounted on the casement window frame 2, and a pin 19 on the rail 9 forms a bearing for the window. |
