PURPOSE:To obtain an antitumor agent containing gamma interferon (gamma-IFN) and interleukin-1 (IL-1) as an active ingredient, mutually remarkably enhanced in antitumor activity and capable of providing effects suppressing proliferation of tumor cell at low dose. CONSTITUTION:The aimed antitumor agent containing (A) either one of natural gamma-IFN, gamma-IFN produced by gene recombinant technique and gamma-IFN derivative having gamma-IFN activity and (B) either one of natural IL-1beta, IL-1beta produced by gene recombinant technique and IL-1beta derivative having IL-1beta activity as active ingredients. Stability of the active ingredients, especially IL-1 can be improved by blending the above-mentioned pharmaceutical preparation with a human serum albumin and/or saccharides and surfactant. Daily dose of each ingredient to adult is preferably in the ranges of 4.2mug-4.2mg in the ingredient A and 0.08-8mug in the ingredient B. |
