Bleaching compositions, substantially free from "pinholing" textiles are prepared by mixing calcium hypochlorite, sodium tripolyphosphate and diluent salts in particulate form and in specified ratios, compacting to form aggregates, disintegrating the aggregates to form homogeneous granules and sizing the granules.
