PURPOSE:To inhibit that bundles of transfer papers of different sizes are bound into a book, by equipping a detection means for detecting all manuscript sizes and control means for inhibiting the duplication in a bookbinding mode when a plurality of sizes of manuscripts are mixed on the basis of detection results of the detection means. CONSTITUTION:RDF2900 can cause a manuscript placed thereon to make a round and has a means for detecting all manuscript sizes at that time. Before the duplication in a bookbinding mode is started, the manuscript placed on RDF2900 is caused to make a round. When manuscripts of different sizes are mixed, no duplication operation is conducted and RDF2900 has means for indicating to that effect on the operating part display of the body or informing an operator by sound, etc. When the sizes of manuscripts are the same, the duplication operation is conducted and transfer papers discharged from the body pass through a folding apparatus 2800 and are sent into a bookbinding apparatus 2000. |
