<p>0.01 to 10 (pref. 1) vol. % of polyalkylene glycol monoether is added to the fuel, with 0.1 to 2.5 (pref. 1.5) vol. % of N-phenyl naphthylamine, based on the ether-amine mixture. The ether is pref. of formula. (in which R is pref. C4H9, R' is -CH3, R" is -CH3, or H, n is 2-25, and n' is 2-25 (less than n if R" = H). The amine is pref. N-phenyl alpha-naphthylamine. The additives are suitable for petrol or diesel engines and reduce formation of deposits in the engine as well as pollutant gases in the exhausts.</p> |
