PURPOSE:To prepare a rayon-like blended yarn excellent in drape property, luster, bulkiness and dry touch by blending highly shrinkable semi-dull filaments with low shrinkable full dull filaments, both kinds of the filaments containing specific amounts of a delustering agent, respectively, and subjecting the blended filaments to heat treatment, to a dyeing and subsequently to an alkali weight- reducing treatment. CONSTITUTION:Highly shrinkable polyester semi-dull filaments containing >=0.2wt.%, preferably 0.2-0.6wt.%, of a delustering agent (e.g. titanium dioxide) and low shrinkable polyester full-dull filaments containing >=0.1wt.%, preferably 1.2-3.5wt.%, of the delustering agent and having a boiling water shrinkage degree of >=6%, preferably >=10%, are blended with each other as a core component and a sheath component, respectively, preferably in a ratio of 6:4-3:7. The blended filaments are subjected to heat treatment, a dyeing treatment and subsequently to an alkali weight-reducing treatment to form fine pores on the surface of each filament, thereby providing the rayon-like blended blended yarn. |
