PURPOSE:To prevent unnecessary power consumption by providing a control means which varies the irradiation angle of a flash device only after focusing at the time when lens focal distance varies and operating a motor for irradiation angle variation only in photography. CONSTITUTION:A motor 101 for focusing driving, a stationary switch device which switches the direction of electric feeding to the motor 101, and a control circuit 102 which controls the motor 101 and sends and receives various signals to and from a camera control circuit 2 on the side of a camera body are mounted on an interchangeable lens. Then when the lens focal distance varies, the irradiation angle is varied by the irradiation angle varying means only after focusing. Consequently, the irradiation angle of the flash device is varied only when actual photography is performed. Unnecessary power consumption is eliminated and a battery can be used for a longer period than usual. |
