<p>PURPOSE:To make improvements in startability by lighting a headlamp when an ignition switch is ON, irrespective of engine operation, thereby improving the extent of operability, while putting out the headlamp only when a starter switch, which is to start an engine, is turned on. CONSTITUTION:A battery 1 is a power supply source for the whole system, and when an ignition switch 2 is ON and a starter switch 6 is OFF, a realy 3 is in an on-state and a head light 4 is lighted. At the time of engine starting, the starter switch 6 comes on and a magnet switch 5 is ON, the relay 3 comes OFF, thus the headlight 4 goes out. Simultaneously with this, a self-starting motor 7 operates and an engine starts. Moreover, after engine starting, the starter switch 6 and the magnet switch 5 are turned to OFF and the relay 3 is ON, whereby the headlight 4 is lighted again. Thus, with the headlight 4 put out temporarily at time of engine starting, a large electric current is made to flow to drive the self-starting motor 7 without lowering the voltage of the battery 1, through which engine startability is ameliorated.</p> |
