<p>PURPOSE:To improve operability and to draw an auxiliary tray to an arbitrary position by forming a main and an auxiliary tray such that the trays are relatively slidably in a sheet discharging direction through resilient engagement between between a guide groove and a guide protrusion, in a slide type sheet discharging tray for a duplicator. CONSTITUTION:A sheet discharge tray 5 comprises a main tray 30 mounted in a position under the sheet discharge port of a device body 1 and an auxiliary tray 31 slidably mounted on the main tray. Guide grooves 36 in a U-shape in cross section are formed in the sides on both sides in the direction of width of the main tray 30, a sideways protrusion part is formed on a bottom wall part 37 of a central recessed part 34 for taking out a sheet to form the auxiliary guide groove 39. Meanwhile, a guide protrusion 46 and an auxiliary guide protrusion 50 engaged with the guide groove 36 and the auxiliary guide groove 39, respectively, of the main tray 30 are formed in the auxiliary tray 31 and the respective protrusions are friction-engaged with the guide grooves 36 and 39 slidably and by means of a resilient force.</p> |
