PURPOSE:To facilitate address revision or the like by retrieving an address having largest items coincident with designated destinations and preparing a mail comprising address information retrieved as most similar destination. CONSTITUTION:A mail storage management section 1 collates information relating to a destination in given reception information with address information registered in a registration management section 4 to confirm the user being a recipient. When the user is a registered user, the mail information in the reception information is stored in a database 3 as a mail addressed to the relevant user. Then a message representing it that a destination designated by a caller is a wrong destination (that is, the destination is not in existence) and a mail comprising address information ('family name', 'name', 'organization name' or the like) extracted as most similar destination to the relevant destination are prepared and the mail is sent to the caller.
