PURPOSE:To prevent the wrong use of a terminal equipment by referring user or utilizing device ID data and terminal ID data to permit or inhibit the operation of a terminal equipment in accordance with the reference result. CONSTITUTION:When user ID data 12c is written in a RAM 30, a CPU 50 collates terminal ID data 12b written in an EEPROM 40 with user ID data 12c. When terminal ID data 12b and user ID data 12c coincide with each other, the terminal equipment is set to the operation permission state, and specific processing like closing accounts is performed by user's operation. If terminal ID data 12b and user ID data 12c do not coincide with each other, the terminal equipment is set to the operation inhibition state, and the user cannot operate the terminal equipment to perform the processing. Thus, the user who can use the specific terminal is specified to prevent the wrong use of the terminal equipment. |
