<p>A supporting strip of rubber, synthetic material or metal for vulcanising hoses of rubber mixtures with inlaid reinforcements in steam autoclaves, has on its surface a groove, and is wound into a coil, possibly on a drum or on concentric drums, with the groove holding the extrusion facing outwards. This enables vulcanisation of long lengths of hose in compact autoclaves, utilising the capacity for the absolute max. throughput, with an economical heat transference, whilst avoiding the enveloping of the blanks in lead.</p> |
