A container for storing and transporting a liquefied gas at low temperature and at atmospheric pressure has an outer supporting wall 1 separated from an inner corrugated wall by a layer of insulating material, and is provided with an access aparture defined by a corrugated member 8 connecting the inner and outer walls and having an outwardly extending flange 10 to which may be bolted an insulated cover 4. The inner wall is corrugated in two perpendicular directions and the corrugations are connected to the corrugations in the member 8.
