Pharmaceutical compsns. comprise >=1 cpds. of foetal origin and physiological saline soln. the compsn. then being rapidly frozen to avoid degradation. Starting materials include umbilical cord, allantoic fluid, Meckel's cartridge, placenta etc. The compsns. are useful for the regeneration and reorganisation of cells, e.g. for treatment of elderly patients, burns, varicose ulcers and nervous depression.
