PURPOSE:To enhance the anti-lightning property and provide possibility of sensing the position of lightning discharge by arranging a core in eccentricity from a covering, thereby furnishing a large wall thickness part, and embedding a lightning sensing wire in this large wall thickness part. CONSTITUTION:A core 1 consisting of Cu is arranged in a covering made of Al or Al alloy in eccentricity therefrom. This gives the covering 2 a local large wall thickness part, which dimensions 1.6mm or larger to serve as the margin for fusion loss in the event of lightning discharge, and thereby the core is prevented from fusion severance due to arc heat at the time of lightning discharge. Further, in this large wall thickness part of the covering, a lightning charge sensing wire 7 is embedded which may consist of a tubing 7a made of metal or alloy and an optical fiber 7b accommodated in this tubing. If for ex. pulse signals are fed to this optical fiber 7b, the position of lightning discharge can be sensed when the fusion loss margin receives discharge and the sensing wire 7 goes into severance. |
