PURPOSE:To reduce shock at the time of speed change to obtain smooth operation by changing the rate of change in engine output in response to vehicle acceleration at the time of speed change by signal output of a shift change detecting means and a vehicle acceleration detecting means. CONSTITUTION:An actuator 6 for moving a clutch 5 arranged between an engine output shaft 1A and a transmission input shaft 9A, and a clutch control means for controlling operation of the actuator 9, are provided in the engine output control device. Further, a shift change detecting means 11 for detecting the state of shift change of a transmission 9, and a vehicle acceleration detecting means are provided. Furthermore, an engine output control means for changing the rate of change in engine output in response to vehicle acceleration at the time of speed change by signal output of the shift change detecting means and the vehicle acceleration detecting means, is provided. Thus, shock at the time of shift-up or shift-down can be reduced, and thus smooth operation can be obtained. |
