1. A kiln for the combustion of a product, comprising a rotary combustion chamber (1), a fixed feed duct (6) having an outlet (4) feeding the chamber with the product to be treated, a separate fixed outlet duct (9) having an inlet (5) for emptying the chamber of the gases released by the combustion of the product, characterised in that the said inlet (5) and the said outlet (4) are separately positioned in the same opening of the combustion chamber, which protects the feed duct from the action of the said gases and permits avoidance of initiation of combustion in this duct.
