<p>A body liner assembly (69) for truck bodies and cargo container which includes a plurality of liner sheet elements (70), each having a normally arcuate profile between the top and bottom portions, a bottom clamping assembly (72) to detachably clamp the bottom portion of the liner elements (70) against the interior support posts (16) of the cargo container, and a second clamping assembly (74) for clamping the top portion of the liner elements against the support posts (16) with the second clamping assembly (74) allowing vertical expansion and contraction of the liner elements (70). The arcuate profile of each liner element (70) causes the top and bottom portions of the liner sheet element (70) to bias inwardly toward the interior of the container body against the first and second clamping assemblies (72, 74) and causes the middle portion of the liner element to bias outwardly towards the support posts (16). The liner elements (70) are mounted in adjoining disposition to form a smooth continuous interior wall surface. In another embodiment, the liner element (18) has a plurality of outwardly extending stud elements (26, 28, 30) attached to its outer surface (24) adjacent the vertical support posts (16) of the container body (12) to transfer impact forces inflicted on the inner surface (22) to the support posts (16).</p> |
