The coupling for terrestrial or marine seismic flutes comprises two cylindrical assemblies placed respectively at each of the ends of the two flute sections to be coupled. Each is provided with an anchorage which assures a rigid joint of the two assemblies, as well as a device for fixing the axial traction elements onto an exterior sealing sheath. The assemblies define between them on interior chamber for housing the associated connector elements joined respectively to the bundles of conductors. The coupling also comprises, housed in the internal chamber, a cylindrical connector support, having a freedom of axial displacement w.r.t. the associated assembly as well as an element for taking up the play. This element is inserted between the connector support and the associated assembly such that the two connector elements, when they approach one another, are subjected to an increasing force as a function of the pressure existing within the flute sections.
