PURPOSE:To make the interval of pins narrow in a multi-pin type connector by making the connection face of the connector for flat cables three-dimentional, and connecting the flat cables while superposing them by one connector. CONSTITUTION:A flat cable connection part of the upper part of a connector main body 11 is formed to have stepped parts 12 to 14. Contact pieces 15 to 17 are arranged at positions corresponding to the stepped parts 12 to 14 and arranged in parallel along the width direction of the main body 11 at every stepped part 12 to 14. The contact pieces 15 to 17 have at their one end parts core wire connection parts 15a to 17a for holding and maintaining the core wires 2 of flat cables 1 therebetween, while at the other end parts external part connection parts 15b to 17b. Inside the connector main body 11, the core connection parts 15a to 17a protrude upwards from the stepped parts 12 to 14 while the external part connection parts 15b to 17b face the bottom opening part of the connector main body 11. It is thus possible to make the pin interval of connector with plurality of pins. |
