<p>PURPOSE:To improve the operability of a tabulator by understanding quickly the number of digits of a column and types of input enable characters in a form approximate to a table under printing when both said number of digits and the character types are defined. CONSTITUTION:A standard is calculated to take a look at the constitution of the table column through a display device 3 with no left/right scroll and based on the relationship between the number of digits of a row supplied from a character input device 1 and the number of display enable digits of the device 3 of a CRT display, etc. Then a scale is displayed to the device 3 in response to said standard, and the columns are divided on said scale by rule lines every time the number of digits and the attribute are supplied from the device 1 for each column of the table. Then a special pattern is displayed to understand the column attribute. Thus it is possible to understand quickly the existing input information for each column supplied from the device 1 and the remaining number of digits that can be set.</p> |
