<p>The locking arrangement takes effect on the locks of all side doors and, if appropriate, also other locks (rear door, boot space, engine compartment), with the exception of the key-operated lock which is usually located on one of the front doors. The key-operated lock contains an electrical switch, especially a reed switch, which is excited during the movement of locking this lock. The signal arrives at a central unit which ensures the remote-controlled locking of the correspondingly equipped locks.</p> |
