PURPOSE:To obtain a higher quality of image with a shortened measuring time, by accomplishing an image reconstruction employing the maximum entropy method based on the reconstructed image as initial value obtained by the filter back projection method. CONSTITUTION:An NMR signal obtained by a nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) signal measuring section 1 is digitized with a data entry section 2 to be brought into a computer 3. Moreover, the data is multiplied by a filtering function to be subjected to Fourier transform. Thereafter, the projection data thus obtained is filter back projected. For example, the above-mentioned operation shall be repeated 64 times when the frequency of projection is sixty four to perform the reconstruction of image by the filter back projection (FBP) method. Based on the image thus obtained as initial value, the maximum entropy (MEM) method is employed to perform final reconstruction of image. Thus, the CMR-CT image of a high quality can be formed with a shortened measuring time. |
