The calibration device, provided with the overall reference symbol (10), for a rim (11) of a two-wheeled vehicle has a receptacle device (12) for the rim (11) of the two-wheeled vehicle, which receptacle device consists of a complete, that is to say circumferential receiving ring (14). This receiving ring (14) is formed from a number of individual segments which can be expanded radially via guide pins (20) and a cone (24). A rim (11) of a two-wheeled vehicle is thus supported by the receiving ring (14) over its complete circumference and can be increased in diameter by the possibility of expanding the individual segments. A pressure roller (17) can be pressed, ultimately with any desired contact pressure, against the rim (11) of the two-wheeled vehicle by virtue of the rim (11) of the two-wheeled vehicle being supported over its complete circumference, so that the shape of the rim lugs can be corrected within certain limits. By virtue of the possibility of expanding the segments of the receiving ring (14) and by virtue of the associated increase in the diameter of the rim (11) of the two-wheeled vehicle, the said rim (11) can be strain-hardened and stabilised within specific limits. <IMAGE>
