<p>PURPOSE:To save electricity by providing a first mode estimating a handle position, a second mode memorizing the said position, and a third mode varying the irradiation direction of headlamps according to the said position, and lessening power consumption in the first and second modes than in the third mode. CONSTITUTION:A handle position is estimated based on sensor data from a steering sensor l in the microcomputer 8-2 of a control device 8 during the running of a vehicle. The turning on of a lamp switch 7 and an auto-switch 10 causes the turning-on of transistors Q1 and Q3, the sending of an actuator control signal according to an estimated handle position to an actuator via an output interface circuit 8-3, and the opening of the variation action of the irradiation direction of headlamps 3 and 4. After that, the turning-off of all of each switch 5-7 causes the turning-off of transistors Q4 and Q2, and the change of a mode in the control device 8 from a handle position estimating mode so far to a data memory mode memorizing an estimated handle position at that time.</p> |
