PURPOSE:To obtain highly concentrated cake by providing a cake scraping means for scraping off the cake deposited on the surface of a rotor to a specified thickness when filtration is finished on the slurry tank side. CONSTITUTION:While a disk sector 5 rotating on a rotating shaft 3 enters into the slurry in the slurry tank 1 and passes through the slurry (in the filtration stage), the solid components in the slurry are deposited by the negative pressure in the sector 5 on the filter cloth on the surface of the sector 5. When the sector 5 emerges from the slurry after filtration, the cake deposited on the surface of the sector 5 is scraped off by a piano wire (cake scraping means) 6 provided in the slurry tank 1 to a specified thickness. Besides, when the sector 5 emerges from the slurry, the water in the solid components is sucked by the negative pressure in the sector 5 and removed to form cake, and the deposited cake is stripped off by the back-purge air in the sector 5 before the sector again enters into the slury.
