PURPOSE:To reduce the switching loss of reflux diodes, by using low tension- resistance diodes excellent in switching property in series, for the reflux diodes of a circuit, without increasing generation loss. CONSTITUTION:A DC power source 1 is divided into two by condensers 7, 8 and resistances 16, 17, and in parallel with them, the series circuit of reflux diodes 3, 4 with a switching element 2 and low tension-resistance diodes is connected. Besides, in parallel with the series circuit of the reflux diodes 3, 4, the series circuit of a smoothing reactor 5 and a load 6 is connected. To the reflux diode 4, the series circuit of a diode 11 and a condenser 10 is connected in parallel with each other, and the connected point of the diode 11 and condenser 10 and the connected intermediate point of the condensers 7, 8 are connected to each other via a resistance 9.
