The machine consists of a chamber of suitable dimensions, divided longitudinally into two compartments by a grating floor reinforced by transverse beams. The upper compartment has end openings through which a continuous filter band enters and leaves; two covers with sealing joints to close the openings, and hydraulic cylinders to actuate the covers for the various working phases.
