PURPOSE:To easily input a coordinate position by only a fingertip, by constituting the titled light pen so that a photodetecting means which can detect a position coordinate is provided on the tip, and the rear end can be installed to a fingertip of the human body. CONSTITUTION:Constituting a signal output line 2 so as to lead to the outside from a position which does not hinder operation, and the whole light pen 11 is formed to such a shape as a fingerstall. An insertion hole 12 is provided in a shape of a thimble from the rear end side of the light pen 11, and an elastic body 14 such as rubber and a resin compound is provided on the periphery of the insertion hole 12, so that the light pen can be held easily, when a finger 13 is inserted. The light pen is fitted to the tip of the forefinger 13A so as to abut on the surface of a CRT display device 15, and by keeping an extremely natural attitude and the sense of touch, detection and picture drawing operation can be performed.
