The invention relates to a horixontal type pulse extractor for two solvents having different specific gravities and being passed countercurrently through a horizontal tube to make them contact with each other. The horizontal tube (1) has respective inlets (3), (5) at both ends which have resp. settlers (2), (4) with a pulse generator at one the ends. Within the tube, there are provided a plurality of pairs of porous disc plates (16), (19), each pair having porous portions in symmetry in the areas of 0.2-0.5 dia and having teflon band (22) against channeling. The space between the discs of each pair is a mixing region and the sapce btw. two paris is 2-10 times larger to be settling region.
