PURPOSE:To form a diaphragm which includes carbon fiber only in its edge part by heating and pressing the molding material to be melted and flowed, forming an acoustic radiation part and the edge part integrally by connecting them with each other to be a diaphragm and adhering a reinforcement plate on the acoustic radiation part of the diaphragm. CONSTITUTION:By heating and pressing the molding material A and molding material B added and kneaded with the short fiber of carbon fiber in dies 3, 4, the materials are melted and liquified and the moulding materials A and B are connected to form the acoustic radiation part 5a and the edge part 5b integrally, and thus the diaphragm 5 is moulded. Also, the reinforcement plate 2 is adhered on the radiation part 5a of the diaphragm 5. Thus completed diaphragm has a high rigidity in its edge part 5b by the short fiber 6 of carbon fiber, hence its shape-preserving force is increased, and also the edge part 5b can be made thinner without degrading the stability of the oscillation system. Therefore, the stiffness of the oscillation system is reduced and the response characteristic can be improved.
