PURPOSE:To facilitate mounting/removal by putting a split magnetic substance into a case capable of being opened/closed and closing the case so as to clip an electric wire. CONSTITUTION:The titled device consists of magnetic substances 1a, 1b formed to a shape to enclose the outer circumference of an electric wire and split in a way that the coupling area is selected sufficiently larger than the cross sectional area to pass magnetic flux, and a holding case 5 having cases 5a, 5b containing the magnetic substances 1a, 1b respectively and capable of opening/closing the cases 5a, 5b. That is, in fitting the noise absorbing device to the electric wire, the split magnetic substances 1a, 1b are put into the cases 5a, 5b capable of opening/closing and the cases are butted and closed to clip the electric wire. Thus, the noise absorbing device is fitted to the electric wire simply, the device is mounted surely and continuously and the removal is facilitated, and a noise current flowing to the electric wire is absorbed excellently in the magnetic substance 1.
