PURPOSE:To permit opposition of the terminal on a liquid crystal panel and the terminal on a printed board with high accuracy by forming caulking legs of a metallic frame for fixing the printed board and liquid crystal display panel to a required shape. CONSTITUTION:The caulking leg 31' of the metallic frame 3 is provided with the notch for caulking having the width tA for fixing the board 2 and the liquid crystal panel smaller than the thickness tPR of the board 2 and the size tF of the root part is set slightly smaller than the guide width tP of the board 2. Positioning of the board is, therefore, exactly executed by the leg 31' and the opposition of the terminal on the liquid crystal panel and the terminal of the board with high accuracy is permitted.
