摘要 PURPOSE:To contrive to decrease the resolution due to color mis-alignment by providing a means detecting a shift minimizing a variance between a reference picture and a comparator circuit even if a moving object is picked up. CONSTITUTION:For example, a G color signal is set to a reference signal. A G color signal is inputted to variance calculation sections 33a, 33b, R, G color signals are inputted to variance calculation sections 33a, 33b from frame memories 32R, 32B and the variance with the reference signal is calculated. Minimum value detection sections 43a, 43b compare sequentially the variance outputted from subtractors 42a, 42b sequentially and a shift value giving a picture of the variance to be minimized. Then the R, B signals are mixed while being shifted by the shift with respect to the G color signal and the result is displayed in color. Thus, the color mis-alignment is minimized and the decrease in the resolution due to color mis-alignment is prevented.
