<p>PURPOSE:To improve durability and to accurately feed a paper by providing plural control means and controlling in such a manner that a resist roller driving means and a holding means do not compete with each other. CONSTITUTION:When an electromagnetic actuator 34 is driven, a friction plate 31 and a clutch 33 are electromagnetically and firmly fixed to each other, and driving force from a sprocket 36 is transmitted to a rotary shaft 27. As it does so, the first control means controls the resist roller 23 so that it rotates during a prescribed period of time, and feeds a paper. On the other hand, the second control means controls the holding means which holds the roller 23 only during a period of time that the roller 23 is not driven by a driving means. Therefore, the holding of the roller 23 by a frictional force imparting mechanism 36 is securely released when the transmission of the driving force is started. Since the control is carried out so that the driving force from the sprocket 30 does not compete with holding power by the mechanism 36, the paper is accurately fed at the prescribed timing by the roller 23, and the durability is improved.</p> |
