PURPOSE:To reduce a program amount by providing a means which computes a degree to satisfy a control rule according to which the actual running state of an automobile is predetermined, based on a fuzzy inference and corrects at least the one of a shift pattern and a running parameter compared with the shift pattern based on the computing result. CONSTITUTION:Fundamentally, based on a running parameter by which a predetermined shift pattern and the actual running state of an automobile are indicated, shift control is effected. But, a degree to satisfy a control rule according to which the actual running state of the automobile is predetermined is computed by a computing means 32 based on a fuzzy inference. Based on the computing resulting, at least the one of a shift pattern and a running parameter is corrected by a correcting means 32. This constitution further decreases a program amount available during control of shift. |
