This barrow (trolley) comprises a framework (1) carrying, at the lower part, a set of wheels (2) and a carrying platform (3) receiving a load to be moved, and, at the upper part, manoeuvring handlebars (4). According to the invention, the said set of wheels is connected to the framework by gear (8) which can move in terms of vertical translation with respect to this framework under the action of means (11, 12, 13, 14) which can be controlled by the user, a second set of wheels (5) is provided, located under the platform, this second set being connected, on the one hand, to the framework, and, on the other hand, to the movable gear by articulated means (6, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21) which, when this gear is lowered relative to the framework, allow the second set of wheels to be lowered with respect to the platform, so that these two combined lowering movements give rise to a tilting of the barrow about the axis of the first set of wheels, thus inclining the load to allow it to be rolled along. <IMAGE>
