PURPOSE:To prevent miscopying by carrying out the warming of the fact that the read surface of an original is blank when it is detected and simultaneously, inhibiting the recording of an image. CONSTITUTION:The original on a contact glass 119 is exposed by an exposing lamp 113, and its reflected light passes through first - third mirrors 121 - 123, and forms the image on a CCD inside an image reading plate 110 by an image forming lens 111. Image data outputted from the image reading plate is sent to an IPU 1 (image processor) 201, it binarizes the image data to count the number of the images in a black part, and sends the number of the counted picture elements to a main control plate 205 when exposure-scanning is finished. When the number of the picture elements is less than a limiting value determined in advance, the main control plate 205 judges that the original is blank, carries out the warning of the fact, and simultaneously, inhibits the recording of the image. Thus, the miscopying can be prevented. |
