PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inspect the defect of a part such that an annular member is fitted on a pipe and brazed fast, and obtain the correlation of the judging result from inspection with the strength of the brazed part. SOLUTION: From outside an annular member 3, a brazed part 4 is inspected ultrasonically, and judging is made for a plurality of points over the pipe circumference and in its axial direction. The defective parts and normal parts are subjected to specified processing, followed by determination of the total amount of defective parts and the amount of defect as the largest lump, and if the obtained values remain below the respective specified levels, it is judged that the brazed part 4 is in acceptable workmanship. |
